CategoriesCommunity Others RecreationalLast Friday (21 March 2025), our club had the privilege of attending an inspiring event in Portsmouth focused on the theme “Breaking Barriers in Sport and Education for Girls and Women.”
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Stephen Morgan MP and Sam (#HeardAboutSam) for the kind invitation and for championing such an important cause.
Representing our club, Social Media Coordinator, Sade Aniemeka , and Welfare Officer, Jaz Loonan, joined thought-provoking discussions alongside community leaders, advocates, and change-makers. The event highlighted the importance of creating equal opportunities, amplifying women’s voices, and empowering the next generation of girls through both sport and education.
It was an honour to be part of a conversation that continues to challenge barriers and celebrate progress toward inclusivity and equality.
